About

uruzi ritualz is an art studio based in London, England.

The studio creates original, handmade artwork rooted in spiritual traditions of the African and Caribbean Diaspora. Each artwork focuses on three guiding principles: simplicity, storytelling, and spirit.

Many spiritual traditions across the African and Caribbean Diaspora remain underrepresented, misunderstood, or at risk of being forgotten. uruzi ritualz aims to honour, preserve, and reimagine these traditions for contemporary audiences.

The studio was founded in 2025 by Black-British fine artist Hope River, who serves as the lead artist.
